Jenna Fischer is best known for her character Pam Beesly on the acclaimed television series The Office, for which she won the Emmy nomination for the Best Supporting Actress and Two SAG Awards for Outstanding Performance from An Ensemble Comedy.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna was a child who watched her mother, Anne performing in church plays. It instilled in her an interest in theater.
Fischer was a theatre actress in her own country. Off-Broadway's production of Reasons to Be Happy was written and directed Neil LaBute, with Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb and Fred Weller. In the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast that airs on Earwolf in the month of October. The podcast has proven to be hugely successful, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week, and receiving more than 200 million downloads during the first two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Years award in January of 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends The Office. This memoir is about their friendship and the work they did for The Office.
