Abbie Cornish was an Australian actor. Born on July 7, 1982. Cornish is best known for her roles in films like Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). Cornish made up the group of actors that earned her the first Screen Actors Guild Award for the film Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother. The love and support of her parents helped make the choice to study acting an easy choice for the now young Betty Gilpin. Fordham College became her choice for college, as it allowed her to develop and improve the skills would need to become an professional actor. Gilpin began to act as a part of Off Broadway productions shortly after graduating, while also casting for roles in the screen and on television. Following a brief appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gilpin landed small part in Ghost Town (2009) and The Northern Kingdom (2008). Gilpin continued to appear on TV with a role as guest actor for the next several years. In 2013, she got her first break when she was cast as a regular in the show Nurse Jackie. As the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie concluded its run in June 2015. The same year Gilpin appeared in mystery-thriller True Story (2015).
